Miracle Flights for Kids Flies Kids To Better Health
July 27, 2016
Before the founding of Miracle Flights for Kids, when a child of a low income family needed specialized medical care that was not within easy traveling distance, they were out of luck. But in 1985, Ann McGee saw this need and started Miracle Flights for Kids. McGee felt that she could help by organizing and coordinating flights for these children that would significantly improve their lives without them having to take on the financial burden. This organization now provides hope to these children that they will live longer, healthier lives. So far, more than 97,000 free flights have been provided, covering more than 53 million miles, and the numbers keep going up.
